Heliconia Park Hotel and Spa Lagos recently hosted an exclusive cocktail evening attended by government officials, business leaders and industry stakeholders, as part of efforts to strengthen its position as a premier hospitality and lifestyle destination in the city. The event, held on Victoria Island, had in attendance the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Toke Benson-Awoyinka, alongside executives from the oil and gas sector, hospitality industry, and other corporate organisations. According to the organisers, the cocktail evening is the first in a series of curated experiences designed to position the hotel as a “social catalyst and destination” within Lagos’ fast-growing luxury hospitality space. The evening offered guests a relaxed networking environment, blending premium hospitality with curated entertainment. It also provided an opportunity for attendees to experience the hotel’s expanding offerings, including its newly launched restaurant and pool bar, Oasis Gourmet, as well as its luxury poolside experience. Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of the hotel, Pasquale Fiore, said the hotel is positioning itself beyond traditional hospitality. “This is more than a hotel. Our vision is to create a destination where people come together for premium experiences, meaningful connections and memorable moments,” he said. Also speaking, the Head of Hospitality Business Development, Makram Khadij, noted that modern hospitality now goes beyond accommodation to include lifestyle and business integration. “Today’s hospitality experience is about more than accommodation. People are looking for destinations that combine comfort, elegance, wellness, business and lifestyle in one place,” he said.
